Due to COVID19, we have decided to do a very simple version of our Fall Festival this year, but don’t think that means you can’t still have fun! With beautiful farm views, crisp fall weather, a full line up of events and something good to eat at the Creamery your day will still be well spent.
Pumpkins & Corn Maze
Pumpkins and the Corn Maze will be available during Creamery hours (Tuesday- Sunday 11-7pm). Pumpkins will be pre-picked and on display at a wagon in the drive thru circle at the Creamery. Unfortunately, 2020 was hard on our pumpkin crop as well, and we have a limited supply, so get here early for the best selection.
The Corn Maze is just across the creek on the right heading to the farm. If you’d like to give it a try, park in the field at the Creamery and follow the access road behind the Creamery to the farm.
We are not charging for either this year, but if you would like to leave a donation, there will be a box on the pumpkin wagon and entrance to the maze. If you want to use a card, please see the person taking payment in the Drive Thru outside.
We are offering hayrides for $3/person, Friday- Sunday from 2-6 pm. Tickets can be purchased by either calling ahead (434) 294-8259, or in the Drive Thru line. The number of people/hayride will be limited in order to maintain social distancing. Advanced reservations are not required, but are available.
We take your safety seriously, so in order to maintain social distancing the playground is available by reservation for families or small gatherings. When making your reservation there is an option to either pay a $25 sanitization fee or sanitize it yourself and have the fee waived. For more information or to have a party package designed for you, please call (434) 233-3014 ext 1.
Come on out to the Creamery any Sunday afternoon in October and enjoy the sweet tunes of local artists.

Richlands Creamery & Kitchen Table
We will continue to offer Drive Thru and Call Ahead service during October. If you’d like to place a call ahead order, please call (434)- 294-8259. Once you receive your order, please feel free to park in the grassy area beside the Creamery and enjoy your food/ice cream at one of our picnic tables. Or bring your own blanket and throw it on the lawn. Follow us on FaceBook for menu updates and specials. https://www.facebook.com/richlands.dairyfarm
Trick or Treat
Halloween is not cancelled! Join us on October 31 from 2-4pm for Trunk or Treating and our pumpkin carving contest. To enter the contest, bring your pumpkin to the Creamery by 1:30pm. All pumpkins will be on display during Trunk or Treating for voting. Each pumpkin will have a mason jar with it for folks to put loose change in to vote. The pumpkin with the most change wins (not total dollar amount, but # of coins). All participants get to keep their change, but the winner gets a free half gallon of ice cream.
